who we are
About us
We set-up RevelCS based on our own experience as senior decision-makers with responsibility for supply chain and operations
Where we found it difficult to make sufficient progress with/ ensure the success of our most critical supply chain improvement initiatives (needed to fully deliver on our KPI’s), because;
- The day-to-day demands left us with very little time to strategize, dig-deep, craft solutions, and guide/ manage delivery
- We had very few people that we could turn to with the experience and functional depth required
- Budgets were constrained, and getting support for additional funding was difficult, or impossible
What we needed (but could not find at the time), was the ability to access experienced people (easily/ quickly), at a cost that made sense/ worked within our limited budgets, who were prepared (and able) to ‘seed’ functional, and consulting expertise/ techniques, to help us set direction, and empower, augment, and leveraging our internal teams, to get things implemented.
- A sounding board
- Picking-up some of the workload around diagnosis, and solution design – someone to work with in the background to address key questions
- Help with top-level program design, and the scoping and planning of specific initiatives
- Help with engaging the broader organization
- Ensuring that the project teams have the right level of functional expertise, and access to methodologies/ templates/ playbooks
Thus, the idea for RevelCS was borne.
There are still situations where either a full-service consulting firm, or independent contractor, would be the best solution, but if your problem is complex, and you need a ‘Tier-1’ skill-set, and don’t have the budget needed to engage a full-service consulting team – or don’t want to because you would like to keep costs down and build internal capabilities, and the scope is something that can be supported (with internal resources), then we might be just what you need.
